Lucerne - Magnificent City With A Lake

Hello again dear fellow readers.

If you love Switzerland, you must not miss another beautiful city which surrounding a lake.

Most visitors will drop by Lucerne to enjoy the city next to a lake.

Swans too.

When you arrive Lucerne, you will not miss the popular iconic structure - The Chapel Bridge.

The bridge links both side of the lake without going around it to get to the other side.

Simply beautiful.

To my surprise, we were lucky enough to encounter a truck loaded with lemonade.

Best of all, its free!!

The locals approach the truck and start throw the bottles to their mates. Because they are free!

Of course, we went over to grab a few bottle to try.

rivella (I think that's how it was spelt) - They tasted like lemonade.

Just the right thing after a long walk along the lake side. :D

After having our good time at the bridge, we decided to climb up higher through the neighborhood to enjoy the overall view of Lucerne.

There you go. Its quite hard to find places like this which have a lake side accompanied by the view of the mountains.

The followings are the shots I took when we are on the way down to the train station.

Oh, before I forget.

They do have some nice pastries, thruffles, chocolates and cakes.

Strawberry!!

Fresh and tasty huh!?

They are really good to my taste.

Not too sweet. *Thumbs up*

You just to keep remind yourself to have a very positive mind.

How do you do that?

Drink mineral water, ok? Everything is gonna be OK!!

Just kidding, I don't know whats the real meaning of the label.

Maybe someone out there can share to us perhaps? :D

Gonna show you guys my shots during my stay in Interlaken next!

Top Of Europe: Jungfraujoch

Jungfraujoch is located 3454m above mean sea level and it has the pride of being the highest railway station in Europe. More info here.

To reach Jungfraujoch, we departed from Geneva to Interlaken and transit via Kleine Scheidegg

The whole journey took about 3 hours.

For me, 3 hours train journey is a long time.

Luckily the scenic view along the journey is awesome.

See if for yourself.

Interlaken West Train Station

Beautiful City of Interlaken

If you ever wondered, how does a train reach a train station so high by using railway tracks?

It will slide down over a steep slope don't you think?

Yea, there goes the answer for that question.

Specially design cog assisted railway tracks. =.=

My Partner in her new Zara windcoat

The train keep climbing up and up all the way to the Top of Europe: Jungfraujoch.

Tunnel of Lights
And whoaaaaa~

People from all around the world came here for the snowy scenes.

Pure white snow and blue sky.

Birds love to hang around. ( I think those are crows?)

We came to make snowballs!

Some came over for hiking, skiing, snowboarding etc e.g. winter games.

Even the dog couldn't wait to run wild.

We spent about 2 hours at Jungfraujoch to enjoy the view.

It's like we do not want to leave. It's just too beautiful...

Anyhow, our time and passports don't allow us to do that.

We got a train to catch.

Don't you just love the cottages with the snowy mountain just behind?

That's about it for Jungfraujoch.

Luzern is the next town we shall visit.

Remember, there are more pictures in my flickr account and do leave a comment :P

Hope you all like it and have a nice day.

My Watermark Logo

Since I am doing a lot of photography works lately, I decided that I need to come up with licensing issue.

Something that represent my work.

Something to brand my work.

Something that will catch people's attention.

I used to watermark my photos with simple wordings like 'S.L.K Pix'

That's just something simple.

And I seek help from a friend, Kaesen, who i think has more creative ideas better than I do.

He came up with THIS!!

I love this logo very much!

I will buy you lunch I promise ok? LoL

Anyway, my first try using the logo looks good. Probably need a bit of enhancement.

Maybe next time.

I'll stick to this style for now. And yea, I took that picture approximately 3500m above mean sea level.

Up next is Top Of Europe: Jungfraujoch!

And hey Kaesen, thanks again for the logo!

Congratulations to Edmund Quak and Cee Yi!

There were delays for updating my next blog title about my trip to Jungfraujoch: Top of Europe.

But I have to go off track a little bit because my friend Mr Edmund Quak had just joined the Grown Up Men's Club officially last night.

Congratulations again from Jenny and myself! You two looked awesome!

We were happy to be there for your 'Big Day' and the food were great too.

I hope you two enjoy the photos as much as I do. :D

The 'photos' in the photo above were the work by All About Love Wedding Photography
I only did a bit of recomposition.

The reception was great and cosy.

We were served with good food and catch up with some old friends.

This was my first attempt too in a wedding event photography.

The photos were not too bad after all. But I think I have a rough idea how should I polish my skills.

Once again, congratulation to you both Mr & Mrs Edmund Quak and all the best to your new future!

Proud of you man!!
